Albanian Famous Model Interviewed by PM Rama
In episode 11 of the "Let Us Talk" Podcast, Prime Minister Edi Rama had one of the most famous models, Emina Cunmulaj, who is currently awaiting confirmation as "Honorary Consul of the Republic of Albania".
The Albanian model has told about her roots and that she is proud of her origin, Tuzi in Montenegro.
In her interview, she emphasized that what is most important is that she managed to challenge the mentality of the time and follow her dream of becoming a model.
She tells how her parents from the US decided to return to Montenegro to live and work at a time when many were thinking of fleeing.
During the conversation, the prime minister asked the model about her great passion and desire to collect the votes of the citizens of Montenegro for the Albanians, where Cunmulaj emphasizes that she does not deal with politics but simply wants the best for the country.
Prime Minister Rama has stated that if you are involved in a political campaign, you are considered a person involved in politics.
"To be involved in politics is to be a good citizen because I don't know which of the American presidents, I have the impression that Ronald Reagan used to say: It is not enough to be a good person to make a good citizen. A good man is for himself and for the people around him, a good citizen is also for outside the threshold of the house who speaks or gives his contribution together with others". So, you're dealing with politics, what do you have to do with that job, while as an engaged citizen you go there with Nik Gjeloshin and you've made the whole world jealous by sympathizing with Nik, taking pictures, going up and down and there are even voices", said Rama.
On the other hand, the model expressed that her desire is to see as much development as possible in her hometown and why it seems that there have been many changes in recent years.
"For what I see with the eyes of my forehead, I fight for it. When I see Tuzi today, which is developing and continues to develop, I will fight for the future of the Albanian people. There, in the Albanian lands of Montenegro. Simply, nothing else. I see Nik as someone who has come to power and has done many things that people have not done before, who have had it for 30 years. Today I turn 38 years old. It is the first time in Montenegro that the road to my house is paved properly. Shame! Why did others didn’t do it? They had the budget. They are simple things. They are elementary things for the country to exist, for us to have them in the same conditions as the Montenegrins", said the model.
