Alessio Abibi returns to Italy and signs for the well-known Perugia club, which plays in Serie B. 

25-year-old Albanian goalkeeper was free since the end of his contract with Dundalk and during this afternoon he signed a contract with the Perugia club, where he will stay at least until the end of the season. 

Abibi was born in Umbria and was part of Perugia's youth team in the 2013-2014 season, and then had some experience in the lower Italian leagues. In 2017, he was transferred to Tirana, where he stayed for two seasons and played 45 matches. 

Abibi has been part of the Albanian National Team up to the U19 level and has played 6 matches with the red and black jersey, while now in Perugia he will seek to give his career another direction.
