The Council of Ministers has approved a financial support measure of ALL 15,000 for 2025, aimed at assisting families and individuals receiving social assistance, persons with disabilities, the visually impaired, paraplegics and tetraplegics, as well as personal assistants of beneficiaries of disability payments.

The decision covers the following groups:

The total financial impact of this support amounts to ALL 2.2275 billion, funded by the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare’s 2025 budget. Unclaimed support payments will expire after June 30, 2026. The Ministry is tasked with implementing the measure, which enters into force immediately and will be published in the Official Gazette.

Personal assistants of beneficiaries of disability payments.

Individuals with visual impairment status;

Individuals with paraplegic and tetraplegic status;

Persons with disabilities as defined by law;

Children without parental care placed in foster families;

Families and individuals receiving economic aid under the social assistance law, including those benefiting from additional funds;
