Albanian President Decrees Two New Diplomats

The President of the Republic of Albania, Bajram Begaj, has signed two presidential decrees appointing new ambassadors to key diplomatic posts.

Under Decree No. 138, dated March 12, 2026, Begaj appointed Jeta Kreka as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Albania to the Qatar, serving as a resident ambassador in the Gulf state.

In a separate decision, through Decree No. 139 issued on the same date, the president also appointed Bardhyl Kollçaku as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Albania to NATO.

The appointments are part of Albania’s ongoing diplomatic engagement with international partners and organizations.
