Albanian Leader of Cocaine Trafficking Gang Arrested in Peru

Police in Peru have discovered 2.3 tons of pure cocaine, as a result of the crackdown on an international drug trafficking network. This network was run by Italian businessman Pasquale Bifulco and Albanian Kadri Gjoci. Two other people have also been arrested, foreign media write.

The agents managed to destroy the cocaine trafficking network, which sent the narcotic substance to Western European countries, mainly Germany and Italy.

Italian Bifulco, 49 years old, Albanian Gjoci, 28 years old, as well as Peruvians Luis Alberto Narbasya Huayanay, 57 years old, from whom 5 kilograms 300 grams of cocaine, two vehicles and communication equipment were seized, as well as Elmer Cardenas Ramirez, 56 years old, from whom a shotgun and 2 other firearms were confiscated, were all arrested.

Drug shipments left Alto Huallaga for Lima and Tumbes in order to be transported by sea from the port of Callao to Europe.

Agents after learning that the criminal organization was sending a significant shipment of drugs to Italy and Hamburg (Germany) proceeded to dismantle the network.
