Albanian Wanted by Italian Justice Arrested in Tirane

Tirana Police has apprehended this Tuesday an Albanian declared internationally wanted for the criminal offense "Narcotics trafficking". 

It is about citizens Rajmond Hoxhaj, 45 years old. He was arrested with the purpose of extradition to Italy, as Milan Court had sentenced him to 24 years of imprisonment.

"Following the work to apprehend internationally wanted persons, the Search Section, in cooperation with the specialists of the Narcotics Investigation Section, the Special Force "Eagles", Fast Albania and Interpol Tirana, developed and finalized the coded police operation "Alias ​”, within which it was possible to locate in the square“ Rilindja ”, capture and temporarily arrest, in order to extradite to Italy, the citizen Rajmond Hoxhaj alias Eduard Dhamo, 45 years old, resident in Tirana. 

The arrest of this citizen was made after the Court of Milan / Italy sentenced him to 24 years in prison for the criminal offense "Narcotics Trafficking" committed in collaboration. Interpol Tirana, in cooperation with Interpol Rome, follows the procedures for the extradition of this citizen to Italy", announced the Police.
