Ambassador Hoxha Moved to EU after Finishing Term in UNSC
Government has decided that after the end of Albania's mandate in the UN Security Council, it will move Ambassador Ferit Hoxha to the EU.
Graduated in 1988 at the Faculty of Foreign Languages; French Language and Culture, University of Tirana, Albania.
He also graduated from the Dutch Institute of International Relations "Clingendael", The Hague.
He began his first experience as a diplomat in 1991, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Then in 1998 he was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, head of the Mission of the Republic of Slovenia to the European Union, Brussels, a post he held until 2001.
Then in the years 2001-2006 he was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the RSH to the French Republic, Paris and in the years 2003-2006 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the RSH to the Portuguese Republic, with residence in Paris.
From 2006 to 2009, he was Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In 2009, he was appointed ambassador of Albania to the UN, but he is also accredited as ambassador for Cuba.
