The stock of Austrian investments in Albania during 2024 reached Euro 843 million, according to data published by the Bank of Albania.

Compared to a year ago, Austrian investments in the Albanian economy increased by 5.4%.

Austrian investments in Albania are concentrated especially in the insurance market, in the energy sector, in hotel services, construction, etc.

Austria ranks fourth among foreign investors for 2024. Referring to data from the Bank of Albania, for the 9th month of 2024, the flow of Austrian investments marked the value of Euro 81 million, with an 8% decrease compared to the 9-month period of 2023.

For the period January-September 2024, the flow of Foreign Direct Investments reached Euro 1.16 billion, registering an increase of 5% compared to the same period of 2023.
