Bardhi Asks President to Return to Parliament Law on Inquiry Committees

Demcorat MP Gazement Bardhi, through a letter, addressed the president of the Republic, Bajram Begaj, where he asks him to return to the Parliament for reconsideration, the law on investigative committees, listing the reasons why it is unconstitutional.

Bardhi has listed reasons why it is anti-constitutionalist, he emphasizes that "the entry into force of this law, which unconstitutionally does not allow effective parliamentary control by the minority, would undermine any possibility of dialogue between the political parties in Parliament, to find a solution on the created situation.

In this sense, the President of the Republic, as the Head of State and representative of the unity of the people, must play his constitutional role to promote and enable political dialogue between the parties, which includes the discussion and consensual approval of changes in the law on Investigative Commissions ".
