The Special Court against Corruption and Organised Crime, ended the case of the democrat MP Gazment Bardhi on defamation charges. 

The judge Flojera Davidhi considered Bardhi as innocent.

He was sued by the former director of the Police of Shkodra, Edmond Sulaj, regarding Bardhi's declarations against him connecting him with the criminal gangs in this city.

Bardhi accused Sulaj for a period of time when he was not of the top of police of Shkodra. Bardhi accused him for the years 2019-2020, three years prior than Sulaj was appointed. 

Sulaj himself stated in previous sessions that following the accusations made by the Democratic MP, both he and his family members have faced insults and attacks on social networks and the environments where they work and study.
