Bektashi believers celebrate Sultan Nowruz Day this Wednesday, the birthday of Imam Ali at the Kaaba. 

According to the legend, hope and resurrection for humanity is born. Bektashi World Leader, Haxhi Dede Edmond Brahimaj conveyed a very important message. 

"On this day, we must pray to give prosperity, to have peace and goodness everywhere", he said, adding that political figures were not missing in the celebration of the holiday. 

Furthermore, Brahimaj stated that Bektashism is a bridge between the East and the West. 

"Foreigners come and visit the World Headquarters of Bektashi. They also come to our ceremonies for Hashure and Sultan Nowruz. Bektashism is a bridge between East and West. It is a mystical tariqat of the Islamic religion that preaches peace and love. All people, regardless of religion or race, we have them brothers and sisters. This makes us peace-loving," he said.
