Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha presented in Belsh this Monday, the candidate of the primaries for the municipality of this city, Bedri Qypi.

During his speech, Berisha also mentioned the agriculture sector, where he highlighted some of the problems. According to Berisha, Albania has the lowest subsidies for agriculture compared to other countries in the region.

Berisha accused Prime Minister Edi Rama that he is only interested in oligarchs and not in ordinary citizens.

"I am morally and legally bound to protect the interests of the citizens, while Rama protects the interests of the oligarchs. They are interested in working with Serbian imports rather than Dumre's products. I tell you that the subsidies in Albania are 5-8 times lower than the countries of the region, Kosovo, Serbia, Bosnia and Macedonia", stated Berisha.
