Berisha Not Allowed to Talk about Man's Post-Arrest Death in Parl.
Former Prime Minister and Chair of the Democratic Party (DP), Sali Berisha has not been allowed this Thursday to talk about Laer Kurti, who passed away in the premises of Commissariat number 3 in Tirana, after being handcuffed.
Following launch of the plenary session, Deputy Speaker of the Assembly, Ermonela Felaj, did not give the floor to former Prime Minister Sali Berisha calling on him to respect Parliament's agenda.
"Berisha, why did you ask for the floor? We have agreed on the agenda, please Noka, sit down, you could have come at the time the session started, it has been a while. Sit down and don't talk about others. Mr. Berisha, I did not give you the floor, it was your duty to take care of this agenda item earlier.
"Gangs in uniform..." - Berisha was heard saying and asked for a minute of silence in the Assembly for the serious incident, while Felaj intervened.
"Please, Berisha, this is not a matter of procedure, you do not have any more right to take the floor from time to time, tell me when it's your turn", said Felaj.
