What Berisha Wrote to Blinken after Non Grata Decision

Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha revealed this Wednesday from Tropoja that two hours after the declaration "non grata" by the US Department he sent a letter to the US Secretary of State, Blinken, where he wrote that this was the work of corrupt lobbying of Jorge Soros and Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Berisha said that although he had friends in the two major parties in the US, he chose not to ask for help, but started a legal battle for his dignity.

"Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced that he had declared me non grata, after two hours I wrote him a letter, where I tell him that this is an act of corrupt lobbying of George Soros and Edi Rama, and I say those words, but in the meantime I thought long with myself, which path I would follow. I had opportunities, I had many friends, more than anyone else, at all levels in both parties in the US.

To seek their help to overturn that decision... No, I said. I will not do it, I will not ask anyone on earth for help, for something for which there is never anyone who can find a fact, proof or document. Why would I ask for help?! It violates my dignity and I will take his Excellency to court for defamation. This simplified my scheme. This is a battle for dignity, I would do it until the last day of my life, of course legally", said Berisha.
