Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has made a reaction from the headquarters of the Democratic Party after the publication of the election results in most municipalities in the country where the Socialist Party is the winner. 

Berisha said that it is all an 'electoral farce' characterized by state electoral crime and ordinary crime. He called on the counters of the opposition in the centers where the counting is going on to do their duty in protecting the vote. 

"There are countless acts, actions that prove that during these months, the narco-state implemented the program of annihilating the freedom to vote, buying it and terrorizing Albanian voters. This is a difficult day, a heavy day for the freedoms and rights of Albanian citizens. 

It is a moment of agony for democratic values in the country. I am here to condemn with the greatest force, to reject this electoral farce characterized by state electoral crime and ordinary crime. I am also here to call on all the representatives of the opposition in the counting commissions to continue their duty with dedication, because it is in our principle and attitude to do everything for the protection of the vote of the Albanian citizens. 

I strongly condemn the violence used in Kurbin against a commissioner for the sole fact that they want at all costs to dictate, to change the result in this municipality as in most municipalities in the country", stated Sali Berisha.
