Berisha Slams Rama's Statements about Albanians, Serbs

Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has condemned the statement of the head of the government Edi Rama in Athens, who said that Albanians and Serbs are cousins. Berisha emphasized that Rama is 'an irresponsible man who engages in a major and historical fraud'.

He added that May 14 is the day of the irrevocable decision to leave Edi Rama out of the political scene.

"Today, here I strongly condemn Edi Rama's anti-Albanian statement in Athens. For the first time in the entire history of Albania, the Balkans, Europe and the world, an irresponsible man commits a major historical fraud, declares that Albanians and Serbs are cousins.

He manages to kick hundreds of thousands killed by Serbian barbarism. To call the Serbian genocides as crimes between cousins... It doesn't get more anti-Albanian than this, he seeks to legitimize any Serbian claims in Albanian territories. Seeks to put all Serbian barbarities into oblivion, tramples history and truth. He kicks everything with a formula given by Belgrade.

Where is this based? Only in vassalage, in nothing else. In no way are Albanians and Serbs cousins. Albanians have been here since this land was created. May 14 is the day of the irrevocable decision to remove Edi Rama from the political scene as a thief and the governor who stole the most from Albanians in their history," he declared.
