The body of Allbanian General Ndricim Sallaku arrived this Sunday in our country, following his death caused by dangerous virus Covid-19.

General Sallaku was infected with Covid-19 some weeks ago. After his health condition worsened, he was transported to Turkey for specialized treatment, where he couldn't win the battle with coronavirus. 

Turkish Defense Minister decided to honor the Albanian late General, that's why a military airplane was appointed to transport the dead body to Albania. This Sunday, Turkish Military Attaché Colonel Kelami Kablay himself went to Rinas Airport to attend the ceremony of reception of late General Sallaku.

"The dead body of General Ndricim Sallaku, who lost his life in Turkey due to Covid-19, was transported to Albania by a military plane of the Turkish Air Force. 
The reception ceremony was attended by Military Attaché Colonel Mr. Kelami Kablay from the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Tirana. On this occasion, we ask God to have mercy on the deceased and we express our sincere condolences to his family, friends, colleagues and all Albanians. May his place be paradise," writes Turkish Embassy in Tirana.
