Bologna's Renowned Newspaper Receives Threats

A threatening phone call about a terrorist attack in Bologna was made on Tuesday at the offices of the newspaper Resto del Carlino.

According to the Ansa agency, the threat of a terrorist attack in Bologna is linked to the case of the imprisoned anarchist Alfredo Cospito. The police special operations unit spoke to the officer who received the call and is investigating the incident.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, the newspaper received an anonymous letter threatening Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and Defense Minister Guido Croceto over the government's policy of providing military aid to Ukraine after the Russian invasion.

"If it continues, we will be forced to take serious measures," the letter says.
