BREAKING: PM Edi Rama Completely Renews the Cabinet with New Names
At today’s meeting of the Socialist Party parliamentary group, Prime Minister Edi Rama decided to introduce changes to the government cabinet.
Albana Koçiu has been appointed Deputy Prime Minister, replacing Belinda Balluku in that position.
Ferit Hoxha, Albania’s former ambassador to the UN, has been appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Besfort Lamallari leaves his post as Minister of Justice and takes over as Minister of Interior, while Toni Gogu has been appointed to head the Ministry of Justice.
Erjona Ismaili has been appointed Minister for Relations with Parliament.
Meanwhile, Enea Karakaçi has been appointed Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, a position previously held by Belinda Balluku.
The Ministry of Defense has also undergone changes.
Pirro Vengu has been removed from his ministerial post.
Ermal Nufi has been appointed in his place.
