Two brothers Saimir and Arsil Shera will have to spend 37 years in prison together for the murder of taxi driver Abudall Budlla in August 2020 in Fushë Krujë. Both of them were found guilty by the court, which accepted the prosecution's claim that the brothers had planned to kill the taxi driver. 

During the hearing, the two brothers' lawyers, asked the court to consider the fact that they were emotionally shocked when they learned that their mother had an affair with Budlla. 

In his testimony before the prosecutors, Saimir Shera had stated that "his eyes were darkened" when he learned about this fact, emphasizing that when he returned from Greece he had found the whole village talking about this issue. 

"I saw Budla in his car, and I lost my reason, so I shot him with a 1997 gun. My brother didn't know" said the 33-year-old. Despite this, the court found the two young men guilty.
