The Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK) has closed the investigations for the mayor of Rrogozhina, Edison Memolla, and the other three defendants, Ndriçim Tafxhafa, Blerin Xhamani and Isuf Tosku. 

The file of Memolla, who is accused of active corruption in the elections, has been sent to trial. 

According to SPAK, Memolla, in the partial local elections of 06.03.2022, influenced the defendant Blerim Xhamani, with the duty of electrician in Durrës, Rrogozhinë branch, not to interrupt the electricity of a debtor subscriber, with the intention of voting in his favour in the partial local elections of 06.03.2022, as well as communicating with the defendant Blerim Xhamani, for employment in the Rrogozhin Municipality, in exchange for a vote. 

The defendant, Ndriçim Tafxhafa, has promised a citizen to repay obligations to OSHEE and for housing, asking her to vote in favour of a certain candidate in the partial local elections to be held in Rrogozhin on March 6, 2022. 

Also, the defendants Blerim Xhamani and Isuf Tosku have falsified the data in the minutes of the interruption of electricity, presenting false data, since they have not actually interrupted the electricity of the debtor subscriber.
