The Democratic Party sues at the Special Prosecution against Corruption (SPAK) the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku.

Head of DP Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi said that Balluku caused to the state 180 million damage as she trade the electric energy illegally. 

"KESH has not released the non-contracted energy on the Stock Exchange, but has bought it expensively and sold it cheaply to private companies selling electric energy. Last year, KESH has stated that it bought off the stock market about 561 thousand megawatt hours at a higher price than it was sold on the stock market. KESH not only bought expensive off the stock exchange, but also sold cheap off the stock exchange, although the law prohibits trading outside the Albanian energy stock exchange. Only for 2023, KESH has sold outside the stock market about 640 thousand megawatt hours of energy", said Bardhi.
