Case of Monkey Pox Found Near Albania

The first case of monkeys was confirmed in Greece this Wednesday. 

Health authorities suggest the infected patient is a man who had previously traveled to Portugal.

He went for check-ups while undergoing special tests after doctors noticed symptoms of monkey pox. He is being treated by white shirts and is in stable condition.

The notification of the authorities states that the test was performed in the Central Laboratory of Public Health from where the person in question tested positive.

So far, a total of 577 cases of monkey pox have been registered in 18 different countries in Europe and 437 in countries outside our continent.
