Tom Doshi will run again for Member of Parliament. The Central Elections Commission (CEC) has accepted on Wednesday to register the list of the Social Democratic Party opening the road to Tom Doshi to run again despite critics of the US Ambassador to Tirana, Yuri Kim.

On this case, US diplomat was clear urging that Doshi must not run for the next elections saying that 'Albanians deserve more'. The US Department of State banned Doshi to enter the United States.

"As Albania's election authorities prepare elections, it is worth recalling this designation, which was made by the US Secretary of State after careful review of information. Surely, Albania's voters deserve better than this," said Ambassador Kim, as she posted the decision of the Department: "The US Department of State is publicly designating Albania Member of Parliament Tom Doshi under Section 7031(c) of the FY 2017 Consolidated Appropriations Act, making him ineligible for entry into the United States, due to his involvement in significant corruption".

Earlier, CEC said that will give an answer to US Ambassador through the Albanian legislation.
