Cinemas in Albania to Reopen after 7-moths Closure

For the first time in nearly seven months, cinemas in Albania will dim the lights and start the show.

The order was signed by the Minister of Health, Ogerta Manastirliu which was published in the official gazette and will enter into force immediately.

Coronavirus-related restrictions and protocols will be applied by every cinema, where hygiene and health of citizens is of prime importance. As of March 29, cinemas were closed for participating in risky activities for the spread of COVID-19 infection.

The Ministry of Health will later publish the entire protocol that will be followed by cinemas to reduce as much as possible the risk of spreading the coronavirus.
