Corruption with Suspended Driving Licenses, 25 Officials Sent to Trial

The Special Prosecutor's Office has brought to trial 25 officials and realtors, who are accused of returning suspended driving licenses before the deadlines, against sums of money. 

At the end of the preliminary investigations, the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office says that it has sent for trial the defendants: Alkid Ndreu, Elio Picoku, Amarildo Lika, Eduart Caka, Besiko Demaj (Zoto), Kujtim Xhaja, Revi Osmani, Enis Balla, Lidian Broshka, Oltjan Muçaj, Spiro Tore, Ilir Tafa, Renato Meçuli, Ervis Dakolli, Endrit Xhambazi, Neritan Selmani, Vilson Zelia, Altin Koçi, Sefer Gianfrate, Evisjon Salku, Gerald Lusha, Ardit Shehu, Arisjon Rakipi, Sotiraq Lamaj, Arian Lika.

"From the analysis of the evidence and data collected during the investigation of this criminal proceeding, it is proven that the driving licenses of the citizens: Besiko Demaj, Greis Rafti, Enis Balla, Sotiraq Lamaj, Lidian Broshka, Oltjan Mucaj, Revi Osmani, Neritan Selmani, Spiro Tore, Selim Skënderi, Renato Meçuli, Ervis Dakolli, Endrit Xambazi, Vilson Zelia, Altin Koçi, Ardian Peposhi, were possessed by these citizens punished with the administrative measure of driving license suspension and were taken from the file of the State Administrative Body (OASH) before the suspension deadline", the announcement states.
