Erion Hoxhallari and Arzen Voci, both from Tirana team, have resulted positive for COVID-19 during the training with the Albanian National Team. The AFA (Albanian Footbal Association) has issued an official announcement this Wednesday. A day ago, Marsel Ismajlgeci, also of the white and blues of the capital, came out positive in Albania U21. 

AFA Announcement:

The Albanian national team has started since Monday the gathering and intensive training in the framework of two important challenges against Hungary and Poland, valid for the qualifiers of the World Championship "Qatar 2022". 

The Department of Communication in the AFA informs the media and the public that the defender Erjon Hoxhallari and the physiotherapist of the National Team, Arzen Voci, left the gathering, who after the tests were positive with Covid-19. 

Hoxhallari and Voci immediately left the hotel where they are gathered to be quarantined and are in good health. 

Thus, Hoxhallari will not be part of the National Team for the two matches that are considered crucial for Albania in the dream to touch the play-off zone, where they will initially play on October 9 against Hungary in transfer, while three days later , on October 12 will host Poland at the "Air Albania" stadium.
