Firdeus Berberi, the young man who was arrested by the Greek police together with Laert Haxhiu, was wanted for an injury that occurred in April of last year to Johan Muçllari.

For the assassination attempt against Muçlllari in the hotel owned by him in Voloreke, 5 people were arrested, while the 22-year-old man and another person were declared wanted.

At that time, Muçllari told the police that he was shot by two people. The incident is suspected to be related to an early conflict, where on August 8, 2020, shots were fired at the hotel owned by Muçllari.

After the arrest by the Greek authorities, the state police announced that they have started the procedures for Berberi's extradition to Albania.
