Democrat Warns Proof on April 25 Elections ‘Unhonesty’

Parliamentary elections of April 25 that got held in Albania were “unhonest”, declared Friday the Member of Democratic Party's (DP) Headship, Fatbardh Kadilli while warning that individual proof backing up his claim are going to be made public.

In a statement to the media, the Democrat accused the government of Prime Minister Edi Rama deforming the will of the citizens by any means, starting with the vote-rigging, up to the use of legal and administrative techniques such as the alteration of the Electoral Code and the denial of immigrants’ vote.

“The government used every means to deform the will of the Albanians. From vote buying to using any legal and administrative techniques, such as amending the Code and closing the border with Greece.

The individual evidence that has been captured and documented that will be published will confirm the phenomenon. Any evidence should be punished according to the law.

I want to thank the OSCE for giving voice to these flagrant violations of the process, and for qualitatively reconfirming every accusation and claim of the opposition.

I emphasize that this is and should be a legal process. A process that takes time, but also patience, prudence and determination”, said Kadilli among other things.
