Ibsen Elezi, the former chairman of the Kukes Democratic Party (DP) branch and a group of supporters have gathered this Thursday in front of the blue headquarters to demand the resignation of the leader of the Democrats Lulzim Basha. 

Elezi stated in front of the media that it can not be claimed that Edi Rama stole the votes while you agreed to sit at the table with Damian Gjiknuri. He added that there are many who want Basha removed from the leadership of the Democratic Party but who according to him do not have the courage to speak. 

"This is going to happen every day. Here over the days, but because of the tense situation. The blue headquarters does not contact me even though I am a member of the DP. This is not a personal party although it has often been used as a private party. I am not attached for this reason. I did not join any other party even though I had offers. 

They came out and still say that Edi Rama stole our votes. Sitting at the table with Damian Gjiknur is a humiliation. He has sold his party. I do not know if there is an agreement to sell it to Edi Rama, but it seems that he has sold it. 

I will be here and break the barrier of silence. If there is a vacuum, I will also announce my candidacy. I do not claim it. But if they do not have the courage to come here to the DP even though they have signed a document. They have started to come from the districts as well", declared Elezi.
