Details from Kryemadhi-Haradinaj Meeting

Chairwoman of the Socialist Movement for Integration (SMI), Monika Kryemadhi emphasized this Tuesday that individual initiatives such as Open Balkan project should not be promoted.

This statement was made as Kryemadhi met today with the leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK). Kryemadhi also noted that mutual recognition of the state of Kosovo by Serbia and unstinting support for Kosovo for membership in international institutions and the path of European integration should be key issues in Albania's foreign policy.

"A very warm and fraternal meeting with the parliamentary delegation of the National Future of Kosovo, headed by President Ramush Haradinaj. Mutual recognition of the state of Kosovo by Serbia and unstinting support for Kosovo for membership in international institutions and the path of European integration should be key issues in Albania's foreign policy. Individual initiatives, such as the non-transparent Open Balkan project that guarantees the supremacy of Serbia's interests over the region, should not be promoted, on the contrary, the unification of the Albanian factor in the region is necessary. We remain committed to intensive cooperation with the political factor in Kosovo to advance economic development, strengthen cooperation between each other and the rapid and successful progress of its Euro-Atlantic integration ", stated Kryemadhi.
