Don Bosko Massacre, Prosecution Closes Investigations

The Prosecutor's Office of Tirana has completed the investigation against Nikolle Sherrniku, suspected of being involved in the armed attack on Fatjon Murati's bar in "Don Bosko", where the bartender Mimoza Paja was killed and 5 other people were injured.

According to the information, the prosecution has communicated to Sherrniku the accusation of "creating conditions to commit murder".

Sherrniku is accused of stealing license plates in Germany and the car of the perpetrators who committed the murder in Don Bosco on March 12 of this year.

Nikolle Sherrniku is suspected of being involved in Ervis Martinaj's group and was also a friend of Brilant Martinaj, who was killed in the Fushë Kruja overpass.

The investigation revealed that the suspect Sherrniku was under "house arrest" for another criminal case when he travelled to Germany. During the investigation, the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana obtained the testimony of a Kosovar citizen, the owner of a service station in Germany, which shows that Sherrniku took three license plates from him.

The same fact has been proven by the statements of another Kosovar citizen. Afterwards, a person from Fushë Kuqja, a friendly connection of Sherrniku, stated before the prosecutors that he had obtained the license plates in Germany on behalf of Ervis Martinaj, as he needed them to evade the police.

Sherrniku himself has claimed that he has nothing to do with the assassination in "Don Bosko", as he was in the cell at that time.
