A large number of flights to Italy have been canceled this Friday due to the strike of Italian air traffic personnel. 

Tirana International Airport announced that the flights from Tirana to Bari, Bologna, Ancona, Bergamo, Verona, Milan Malpensa, Genoa, Rimini, Rome, as well as flights from these cities to Tirana will be canceled today. 

"Please passengers who have a flight today to the above destinations to communicate in advance with the respective airline companies to verify the status of their flight before leaving for the airport", stressed TIA among other things.
