Secretary-General of the Democratic Party (DP), Gazmend Bardhi has accused Thursday Socialist Party (SP) Parliamentary Group Chairman and political leader for Elbasan region in April elections, Taulant Balla of wanting to politically profit from the execution of Pjerin Xhuvani in Elbasan.

In his message to the citizens of the Elbasan region after the April 25 elections, Bardhi says that for 4 months this area became his home, as he remembers the unfortunate event of April 21 where Pjerin Xhuvani was killed, considering it as the most difficult day of his life.

Moreover, the Democrat underlined that the DP was voted by 60.000 inhabitants of the Elbasan region, guaranteeing that in every position he will be by their side.

“For 4 months Elbasan became my home, and will remain the city of my heart even after the end of this election process. The hospitality and opening of the doors, the citizenship, the culture and the love for the place of the people of Elbasan were the most inspiring thing of this campaign for me. We chose to stand by the people in this campaign and gain their trust without any pressure, blackmail, buying or abuse. Meanwhile, the other party's only alternative was violence, blackmail, misuse of the state, use of dirty money, slander and fabrication.

Unfortunately, from the Socialist Party's incitement to violence, there were also very serious events on this journey. I chose not to respond to any of the monstrous provocations and accusations of the only person responsible for the event, Taulant Balla, who even a serious event, where there is loss of life and injury of citizens, sought to use for political gain”, proclaimed Bardhi among other things.
