Draft Budget for 2021 Approved
The draft budget for 2021 is approved. The Committee on Economy approved on Friday the draft budget for 2021, making even some changes. MP Anastas Angjeli, said that the primary change that has been made is that of the reimbursement of basic medicines for the treatment of Covid-19.
From the calculations made, it has been decided that ALL 1.2 billion will go to reimburse the medicines for every person affected by Covid-19 and treated with medicines. In total, the budget of the Ministry of Health is set to increase by ALL 2.2 billion, reaching about ALL 70 billion.
Another allocation has been made for oilmen as well. 560 million ALL will go for the salaries of oil workers. What did not receive much attention was the request of Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Belinda Balluku, who had asked to increase foreign investment by 20 million ALL for three issues and for the program of the energy efficiency agency and conservation companies.
