An accident was recorded this Tuesday afternoon in neighborhood no. 11 of Durres, where a woman was injured by a responsible driver who escaped the scene after the event.

Information at hand suggests that passer-by, whose identity is not disclosed, received several wounds on her body, and was transported urgently to the hospital of the coastal city.

Eye witnesses claimed that the injured spoke Italian, therefore it is suspected that she is an Italian citizen. They also said that behind the wheel was a young boy, who after the accident left quickly with the vehicle.

Fortunately, the injured woman does not risk losing her life and the the police are investigating so as to clarify the circumstances of the accident.
