President of the Republic, Ilir Meta paid a visit to the Muslim Community of Albania (KMSH), from where he wished the feast of Eid al-Fitr for all believers, but also for all Albanian citizens. 

Meta said in a statement to the media after the visit to KMSH, that the sacrifices of Muslim believers should inspire all citizens for a more solidary, just and united society. 

"It was a pleasure to congratulate today the brothers of our Muslim committee on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, congratulating all believers, but also Albanian citizens, to appreciate their sacrifices, especially during this difficult period, also due to the pandemic. We also express our gratitude for the help they have given to the sick and the poor. We wish that these sacrifices inspire us all for a more solidary, fairer, more humane, more united and more peaceful society ", said Meta.
