Elbasan police have arrested this Sunday one of the two perpetrators who beat up Court Chancellor Ledio Sulkuqi. 

Police have handcuffed 24-year-old U.G, a resident of Elbasan, while declaring his accomplice wanted. U.G together with another person beat up Ledio Sulkuqi a few days ago with strong tools, as soon as he came out of a bar near his house, which was located a few meters away from the Elbasan Police Directorate. 

"Regarding the event that took place on 10.04.2022, when the citizen L. S., 51 years old, was hit with hard objects, we inform you that one of the suspected accomplices of the event has been identified as the citizen U. G., 24 years old, resident In Elbasan. 

The investigative group in cooperation with the Elbasan Judicial District Prosecutor's Office is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the event, identify and apprehend other citizens involved in the event", informed the Police.
