Kurt Kola, the former head of people politically persecuted in Albania, has lost his life this Saturday due to the consequences of Covid-19. 

The news was confirmed by his son, Bilal Kola, who wrote on social networks that his father passed away on January 29. Kurt Kola passed away at the age of 85.

"About 1 month after Covid passed, 10 days ago he suffered a serious complication in his lung, which resulted in a fatal stroke," the son wrote.
