The leader of the Republican Party, Fatmir Mediu, in his capacity of the leader of the Alliance for Change, has revealed the first name proposed by the opposition for the new President of the Republic of Albania. 

Mediu said that he discussed with the head of Environmental Agrarian Party (EAP), Agron Duka, revealing that they proposed the name of Dashamir Shehi, as the right person for the new head of state. 

"The rational would look for a common candidate. We as the opposition must be close to establishing a consensual relationship with each other and then building it with the other party. We have also started discussing names. I have discussed with Agron Duka and we have proposed the name of our friend Dashamir Shehi. There is a political history, but we said once again that a common consensus is needed," Mediu stated.
