15-year-old Kosovar footballer, Leonit Syla, who played for "2 Korriku" club, has passed away. 

The news was announced by the managers of the club themselves, who in a public letter expressed their condolences for the teenager's death. 

"The right words are hard to find right now because the early departure from the life of a child like Leon, at the age of 15, is hard to bear, but please accept our sincere condolences for the golden boy who passed away today. Leoni was a fighter on the football field and also outside it, because he fought hard against the serious illness he had, but as a brave and fearless boy, with his fight and non-surrender, he has shown how much he loved life and football", message read among others.
