Former Minister of Works and social affairs, of Berisha's government, Kosta Barka passed away this Friday.

Barka 70-year-old died due to an autoimmune disease.

Democrat MPs expressed their condolences to the family of Barka. 

Kosta Barka served as Minister of Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities in Sali Berisha's government from 2005 to 2008, representing the Union for Human Rights (UHRP), a party of the Greek ethnic minority.
