New details have come to light Sunday regarding the finding of the lifeless body in the reservoir of Gjanç in Korça District, of the 25-year-old Fridman Xhaferraj.

On May 21, Xhaferraj was released from detention rooms, leaving him under house arrest in the village of Plug in Lushnja. He was charged with “Arson” after having set fire to three cars near a shopping center.

Signs of violence were found on the body of the 25-year-old, on the body and head, which proves that the young man was tortured to death elsewhere before being thrown into the waters of the Gjenç reservoir.

On their part, the Police have informed they are working to clarify the whole dynamics of the serious event.

Earlier today, it was reported that the victim was found drowned on the surface of the water this morning by the residents of the area, and there was doubt that he was not a resident of the villages of the Vithkuq Administrative Unit.
