GJKKO Condemns former Judge with 3.4 y in Jail
The Special Court against Corruption (GJKKO) condemned Wednesday former judge Ilir Pashaj with three years and four months in jail.
Pashaj is accused for passive corruption of judges and prosecutors as he was banned to work in public functions for the next five years.
According to GJKKO, Pashaj is accused of passive corruption of judges, prosecutors and other justice officials, as well as of refusing, failing to declare, concealing or falsely declaring the private assets and interests of elected officials and public servants, or other individuals who have a legal obligation to declare them.
The former judge was also found guilty of laundering money obtained from criminal activities.
