Government of Prime Minister Edi Rama has decided to launch a new initiative on the eve of the new year, which provides a questionnaire that will be sent to every Albanian to hold a popular assembly to think on issues of strategic importance for the country, economy and society.

For this new action, the Head of Government said that it is time to leave behind the trenches of political strife to take big steps forward by advising together on important decisions.

"On the eve of a New Year of new opportunities, the Government decided to give life to a new democratic initiative, opening the comprehensive process of National Consultation for Albania. With a questionnaire addressed to every Albanian, in Albania or in the world, we will hold a popular assembly, where we want your opinion on issues of strategic importance for the country, economy, society.

It is time to leave behind the trenches of political strife to take big steps forward, consulting together on decisions of political, economic and social importance. "Let us listen to each other as people of this blessed country, as Albanians who share many things, we are united by the red and black flag and the future of our children without distinction", said the Premier.
