Minister of State for Reconstruction, Arben Ahmetaj, has made it clear this Friday that any trace of the earthquake of November 26 will be erased until spring of 2022.

"In the spring of 2022, all traces of the November 26 earthquake will be erased. Albania will be reborn with a new school, home and neighborhood. It will be reborn even in those hearts that will benefit from a free home, a new school for children", said the minister, during the presentation of the "Reconstruction" program of the SP. 

Further, the Minister revealed that the Albanian Government has managed to withdraw 100% of the grants promised by friendly countries at the Donors' Conference, held a year ago. 

"The Donors' Conference on February 17 in Brussels mobilized unprecedented solidarity, worth EUR 1.15 billion. In what country would this have happened, if international friends did not trust the government ?! Today we have managed to withdraw 100% of the grants promised at the Donors' Conference. We have a compliment on the speed of withdrawal of these pariahs. 

The Turkish government is continuing the reconstruction in Kurbin, a spectacular construction, the EU is continuing the reconstruction of the schools. Reconstruction is a unique, entirely social, citizen-centered program. The whole area damaged by the earthquake, in 11 municipalities, is a work site. Reconstruction is the biggest work program in these 30 years, as 45.000 families benefit", added Minister Arben Ahmetaj.
