Nearly 275 thousand families will benefit from a new-year-bonus.

The news was made public by the Minister of Health, Albana Kociu at the end of the government meeting.

According to the minister, during Thursday's meeting was approved a fund of 2.1 billion ALL as bonus for the families in need. 

One family will take 15.000 ALL as bonus this year and those who benefit are the people in need and those who support the people with disabilities. 

“Today I am pleased to announce a good news for all families and individuals who benefit from the social protection scheme and program. With the latest decision of the Albanian government, a bonus for the end-of-year holidays is granted to 275 thousand families and individuals who benefit from the social program schemes.

It is precisely 150 euros that are granted to families in need who benefit from the economic scheme, children who do not have parental care, disabled people who have the status of tetraplegic or paraplegic, those who have the status of blind, for the first time receive the end-of-year bonus and assistants and caregivers of people with disabilities, there are 18 thousand caregivers," informed minister.
