Albanian Committee of Helsinki has considered the decision of the Albanian government to close the Turkish school "Mehmet Akif" and the kindergarten, a harsh, hasty measure with serious consequences. 

The Albanian Committee of Helsinki stated that the procedures of the authorities for the closure of the Turkish College "Mehmet Akif Ersoy" do not meet the standards of the regular process, as well as it is not in accordance with the legal provisions.

"The procedures of the authorities for the closure of the Turkish College "Mehmet Akif Ersoy" do not meet the standards of due process, resulting in the granting of a harsh, hasty, disproportionate measure with harmful consequences", stated Helsinki Committee.
