The husband of 41-year-old Bedrie Loka, who poisoned herself with photoxine after the New Year, has been escorted to the Durrës police. There are doubts that Xhemal Loka pushed his wife to commit suicide. 

The latter lived in exile in Greece and had returned home on December 27, together with their eldest son, for the New Year holidays. 

The couple were parents of 4 children, three boys and one girl, and their testimonies were key in solving the incident, where they showed that the parents had conflicts. 

The deceased's husband had hidden his two phones in different apartments, while the police also found a pistol. 

Xhemal Loka stated in the testimony given to the police that his wife has had stress and anxiety recently. According to him, the wife Bedrie Loka may have committed the act of suicide after about a year ago unidentified persons opened an address on the TikTok social network with her name, an event for which the victim had also filed a criminal complaint. 

Xhemal Loka stated that the night before the event, his wife was fine and had no worries. 

He has shown that they spent the evening in order celebrating the New Year, but according to him, the woman had been showing concerns for a long time as she could not cope with the derogatory photos of her published on TikTok. 

Xhemail Loka testified that on the morning of January 2 he went and saw his wife lying on the floor in the living room, in the middle of the house. 

With his brother's vehicle, they transported her to the Durrës Regional Hospital Emergency Room, where the doctors informed her that she had consumed photoxine. After that, they sent the ambulance to QSUT for more specialized treatment, where she was placed in intensive care, but due to her serious health condition, she died.
