Turkish media have published the names and photos of six people who were killed during a shootout in Greece.

According to media reports, they are said to have belonged to a hitman gang known as Dalton, led by fugitive Turkish mob boss Baris Boyun.

Among the dead is Doruk Ersu Buyuktudus, one of Buyun's closest people, who had been imprisoned in Italy for some time.

Abdurrahman Tekru, Ozkan Kaan Tozlu, Baris Cagan, Omer Kanza and Burak Tahmaz are the other dead people, according to Turkish newspaper Milliyet.

According to the same source, after the murder a Tik Tok account called "Red Kit gang" uploaded a video and photo saying "we got our revenge".

The newspaper even reports that the Greek authorities have contacted the Turkish authorities to verify if the posts in question are true and if there is information about the victims.

The group of Turks lived in a secret house in Lutsa, very close to where they fell dead.

At first, the Greek media reported that it was suspected that the killed were Albanians, but then it was revealed that they were Turkish citizens with French documents.
